I saw all of the TV commercials advertising the various types of Internet service in our area. You can end up spending a fortune for the really fast services. The funny thing is that most people do not need it. They are just programmed like other consumers to always want the fastest, or the one that has the most amount of features. Consumers like brands too, and that is why companies come up with cool sounding names for everything including Internet service. At my house we have high speed dsl service. It is inexpensive, and it serves our needs perfectly.
At our house, my wife and I along with our two children are on the Internet a lot. My wife streams movies on her tablet. The kids are into games and stuff on their phones and the game console connected to the Internet. I develop content for websites that includes photos and video. I need to upload to the servers for the websites. Some of the files are very big. I do not have a problem using high speed DSL to get my work done.
We are saving a fortune on our monthly Internet bill compared to what we were spending before. When we cut back due to needing to save some money, I thought that the new DSL service would be difficult to get used to. Well, it turns out that we were not using the speed the old service offered. None of the things we were doing were actually taking advantage of any speed gains. So, the devices we use and the apps we are using on them are working just as good on the lower cost DSL as they did on the more expensive service. The old service was kind of like taking a race car to the grocery store. Totally not needed.
I have tremendous anxiety problems, and they are to the extent that I do not want to even go to a doctor. I just feel like I can't engage in that sort of interaction with another human being right now. It would be too overwhelming, and likely cause me a panic attack. I hate having panic attacks, and that is why I am going to try to get xanax over the Internet. I know that it might not be the best route for me to go with regards to treatment of my problems, but it seems like a treatment option that I can actually get myself to access right now.
I would like to go the doctor at some point in the future, but I want to break down, and cry, just thinking about going in to see a doctor. I know that all seems ridiculous, and it does not make any sense to me either. I have no idea why I have such fear of social interactions. It does not seem like they should cause me overwhelming fear, but in general, that is how I feel about interacting with other human beings. As a result, I have been leading a life of isolation for the last few years, and that is something that I want to try to change.
If I can get my hands on some Xanax, I might be able to start to try to change my life for the better, and leave the house more often. I know that I have a lot of family members that would support me in this process, because they have all been very worried about me in my years of isolation. Eventually, I hope to improve enough to actually seek out some professional mental health for my severe anxiety problems.Take On Analyzing
- I am taking the J train to transfer to the L train at Broadway Junction going towards Brooklyn. Do I need to walk up or down on the elevated platform and how many levels? Also, do I need to pay for another train ride or is it an immediate free transfer?
Thank-you to anyone that answers.
Answer by John L
The L train platforms are above the J platform, so you'll have to go up stairs. As at all connecting stations on the NY subway, connections between lines are free.
- I am hanging a mirror that came with three j-hooks (plastic) and three nails. How do I put these up on the wall to hang the mirror? Someone was going to help me do this but I am having a get together today and no directions came with the mirror.
Answer by rich under construction
J-hook hardware must mean the mirror has round eyelets attached to it that then slide over the j-hooks. And if the j-hooks came with nails, then the manufactures recommended installation would be much like hanging a picture on the wall. For placement, find out where you will want the mirror and determine where the top eyelet attached to the mirror will be. Then insert the nail into the two small holes provided on the j-hook. Notice the nail will be driven in on a downward angle. Place it on the wall where the top eyelet will slide over it. Now, take a hammer and drive the nail in on the downward angle. Measure the back of the mirror for the location of the other two eyelets and transfer them to the wall with two small pencil marks. If you have a level, draw a plumb line from the first j-hook to make sure the mirror will hang straight. Good luck to you!
