Following the announcement of the match schedules for football tournaments for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games by FIFA on Jan. 31, 2007, a competition comes up secretly for the authorization of hosting the tournaments for China Women Football Team and China Olympic Football Team among the 4 cities, Shenyang, Tianjin, Shanghai and Qinhuangdao.
All of them are the branch football pitches for the Olympic football tournaments, but the city that hosts the group tournaments for China Olympic Football Team and China Women Football Team will obviously be gaining a great enhancement of the brand effect and influence.

According to the report published by FIFA Organising Committee for the Olympic Football Tournaments, the men’s first Olympic football match will kick off in Shanghai on 7 August and the final will be at Beijing’s National Stadium (Bird Nest) on 23 August 2008. The Women’s competition will start in Tianjin on 6 August and the final will be at the Workers’Stadium in Beijing on 21 August. The 58 matches of the men’s and women’s tournaments will be shared among five cities – Beijing (only for finals), Shenyang, Qinhuangdao, Shanghai and Tianjin.
