I'm from Australia and never been to the UK before. However I plan to attend the London 2012 Olympics and am currently gathering information.

Obviously this website's great and I also stumbled across another really useful website - http://london.olympic.gb.com - that covers loads of different topics including transport, accommodation, news and cultural events.

Does anyone know of any other 'one-stop shop' websites that are geared towards the Olympics?

Also, where do you think the best location to stay would be during the games?
